Handling of Personal Information

Kenton fully understands the importance of protecting personal information and has put in place the following initiatives about all of the personal information that we will collect and use for business purposes.

  1. Personal information management

    Kenton will maintain the accuracy, personal information, and ensure personal information is up to date. To protect against unauthorized access, loss, damage, alteration, and disclosure, Kenton will provide the necessary training and tools for its employees. Kenton will implement security measures and carry out strict personal information management.

  2. Purpose of using personal information

    Kenton will respond to questions the client may have regarding entrusted personal information by email and include relevant documentation.

  3. Prohibition against providing and disclosure of personal information to third parties

    Kenton will appropriately manage information entrusted by clients, and will not make any disclosures of personal information to any third parties except in the following circumstances.

    • Disclosures made with the agreement of the client

    • Disclousres to a consigned services merchant, made by Kenton in order to fulfil a service requested by the client

    • Disclosures when required by laws and regulations

  4. Compliance and revision of laws, regulations and standards

    With regards to personal information possessed by Kenton, in accordance with Japanese laws, regulations and other standards, Kenton will appropriately update the contents of this document, and seek to implement improvements.
